When First Impressions Aren’t What They Seem

I met a guy on a dating app, and to my surprise, we clicked almost instantly. Our conversations flowed effortlessly, we shared the same sense of humor, and he seemed genuinely kind. After weeks of messaging, we decided to meet in person. I felt that mix of excitement and nerves, wondering if the real-life version of him would match what I had come to like so much through a screen.

When I saw him, he looked exactly like his photos—well put together, friendly, and easy to talk to. But within minutes, something caught me off guard: his scent was incredibly strong. We ended the night on a positive note, and even though I wasn’t sure where things would go from there, I walked away with a new perspective. Sometimes what feels like a dealbreaker is just someone’s nervousness showing in an imperfect way, and a little understanding can completely change how we see someone. READ MORE BELOW
