MicahJo Barnett, a 20-year-old football player at William Jewell College, has died after suffering a medical emergency during the team’s season opener against Fort Lewis College on August 29, 2026. Barnett had scored a touchdown just moments before collapsing on the sidelines and was taken to a local hospital, where he was
