My son forgot to pick me up from the hospital, even after ten calls. Fearing

Martha was shocked when Mr. Henderson revealed that Robert had legally sold the house before he died and transferred the ownership. Kevin and Jessica could not believe what they were hearing. When Kevin asked who owned the house, Martha smiled and calmly replied that Robert had left it to her. Mr. Henderson confirmed this by showing the official documents.

Kevin became frustrated and demanded to know about his inheritance. Mr. Henderson explained that Robert had left him a large amount of money in a trust, but he would not receive it until he turned forty. Robert wanted his son to become responsible and independent before receiving the inheritance.

Martha encouraged Kevin not to let anger control his life. She reminded him that resentment would only hold him back and urged him to use his future inheritance to build a better life. Kevin and Jessica were left speechless as they realized they could not take the house away from Martha.

After Kevin and Jessica left, Martha thanked Mr. Henderson for his help. The locksmith changed the locks so she could feel safe in her own home again. Standing in the house she now truly owned, Martha felt grateful for Robert’s love and wisdom. She looked toward the future with confidence, knowing she was finally free to live her life in peace.
